Project Engineer – Heavy Highway / Civil
Location: Austin, Texas

Our client, a national Heavy Highway General Contractor, is currently recruiting for a 2-Year Project Engineer to support heavy highway and civil construction projects in the Austin area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) Preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Heavy Highway / Civil construction
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong ability to prioritize with a detail-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist and act as a liaison between subcontractors, superintendents, and foremen
• Support preparation of project cost reports and pay estimates
• Assist with CPM scheduling
• Manage and track submittals and RFIs
• Support day-to-day project coordination and documentation

Preferred Knowledge

• Grading and paving
• Bridge construction
• Retaining walls
• Drainage systems
