5+ years of construction scheduling experience, with a Heavy Highway General Contractor
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering is preferred (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Strong knowledge of DOT standards,
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software and MS Excel.
- Create, monitor, and maintain multiple project schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Assist the team in defining project goals, objectives, and success factors.
- Work closely with project managers, construction engineers, and contractors to provide detailed planning and scheduling support.
- Collaborate with estimating departments and project teams during project turnover to modify schedules based on bid evaluations.
- Analyze schedule updates against the established baseline to assess impacts on resources, constructability, workflow, and cash flow.
- Evaluate schedule logic, durations, resource impacts, and workflow efficiency.
- Make recommendations to reduce schedule risks and assess the impacts of design or construction changes on project timelines.
- Prepare and present schedule updates and status reports to project teams.
- Report on schedule progress, highlighting potential risks, and develop recovery plans in the event of delays.
- Prepare summary-level reports such as 4-week look-ahead schedules, cash flow analysis, resource histograms, and float trend analyses.
